First year of music school down, at least 3 more to go! Haha yeah, a lot of people don't make it in 4, but I'm going to try. I've had my first outside-school gigs--unpaid but it's a start! I'm finding that although it's harder, it's generally more lucrative to be a classical musician than jazz/commercial where you just have to get lucky. Denver is such an amazing city. I really love it there, can't wait to go back in September. I think I'd like to live there when I'm done with school, if I can.
